Crochet Chicken Pattern: Stardew Hen Amigurumi (PDF Pattern)

This small crochet chicken pattern was designed by myself and is an Off the Hook Mama Original crochet pattern for a Three Dimensional Amigurumi stardew  valley hen, Chicken crochet plushies have been a very hot selling item in the in person market spaces I have vended.  This pattern has been highly requested and Crochet Chickens are often a best seller.

This crochet pattern uses jumbo yarn and it's final height measures at approximately 3" tall once complete.

Yarn Requirements: Roughly 20 yards of  yarn if using chenille home yarn (colours listed within)

Material Requirements:
1. Chenille Home/ Sweet Snuggles (if making the XL size + a 9mm hook)
2. Black Worsted weight Yarn + needle
3. Polyfill stuffing
4. Scissors
5. Black & Red Sewing thread + needle

Size:
Once complete this finished make measures approximately 3-4" tall, is approximately 2" wide and designed to be an approximate scale model of the hens in my Stardew valley farm game. 

This pattern is a 4 page printer friendly version of instructions with a  finished reference photo and highly detailed construction break down to aid in the process. This pattern is meant for beginner crocheters with knowledge of basic crochet terms but it is a tricky build.  However if you have basic crochet knowledge and can use a stitch marker each step is clearly mapped out for you within this pattern guide.

Ch = chain stitches
SC = single crochet stitches (video available)
INC = increase, two sts in one space (video available)
(st)2TOG = decrease by closing 2 sts together
INV.DEC = invisible decrease (video available)
BLO = Back Loops Only (video available)
St(s) = stitch(es)
BS = Ball Stitch (see special instructions)
B = Bobble Stitch (see special instructions)
SLST = slip stitch (also creates a seam)
REPFRM*: Repeat from the star X number 
of times more in the row. (if no number of 
times is offered repeat once)
TOG = Together
S = Surface (see spec instruct)
FO = Fasten Off
YO = Yarn Over

The finished product can be used as a desk pet or hanging decoration and makes the perfect gift for any fan of the Stardue valley series.
